Commercial Engineer

Our client based in Sandton is looking for a Commercial Engineer. Responsibilities: • Manage all orders through the order system, from order placement through to delivery to customers. • Be proficient in the contents of contracts, manage the contract review process, and ensure its effectiveness and accuracy. • Monitor production schedules for orders and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure the ordering process runs smoothly and all orders are delivered seamlessly and on time. • Act as a key connecting point between the Sales Department, Logistics Department, Business Operation Department and the production team internationally. • Provide receivables data and account statements to customers, reconcile accounts with customers, ensure clarity of accounts receivable and correctness and timeliness of write-offs, and assist in achieving the required response rate. • Assist in building and improving systems and put forward suggestions to optimise business processes; support inventory management and sample tracking processes. • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations. • Ensure high-quality standards for internal and external audits. • Assist with quarterly and annual stock-counting and audit activities. • Perform other duties as directed by the Team Manager. Requirements: • Relevant Bachelor's degree. • Minimum of 1 year working experience. • Profound knowledge of MS Office Excel and Oracle systems. • Ability to work under pressure. • Fluent in English; Mandarin spoken and written capability is beneficial.
