Metrology Technician - Netherlands

Our client is looking for an experienced Metrology Technician to join a precision manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting accurate dimensional measurements, inspecting manufactured components and ensuring products meet strict engineering specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities • Perform precision measurements and dimensional inspections on manufactured components. • Operate metrology equipment, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), where applicable. • Interpret engineering drawings, dimensional tolerances and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). • Verify component accuracy against technical specifications and manufacturing requirements. • Identify measurement deviations and report non-conforming components. • Maintain accurate inspection records, measurement reports and quality documentation. • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve dimensional quality concerns. • Ensure measuring instruments are correctly maintained and calibrated. Minimum Requirements • Fluent in English and Afrikaans • Relevant technical qualification or practical training in metrology, mechanical engineering or precision manufacturing. • Experience in dimensional inspection and precision measurement. • CMM operating experience will be a strong advantage. • Good understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances. • Experience in precision manufacturing, machining or high-tech production. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
